SketchBook on Mac App Store

Today, Apple launched the Mac App Store, delivering the familiar buying experience of music, videos, and Apps to desktop software.

SketchBook is among the first applications available through this exciting new storefront with both a free (SketchBook Express) and full Pro version.

“We’re delighted to bring our professional-grade paint and drawing app, Autodesk SketchBook Pro, to the Mac App Store on its first day of launch,” said Carl Bass, Autodesk’s CEO. “We’ve seen tremendous success on the Mac, iPhone and iPad with multiple apps. We’re excited to offer SketchBook Pro on the Mac App Store so artists can easily create everything from quick sketches to high-quality artwork right on their Macs.”

To celebrate the launch, SketchBook Pro for the Mac App Store will be available for an amazing introductory price -- something that will benefit both new users and loyal customers who want to consolidate their Mac applications through the Mac App Store. The launch price will only be available for a limited time.
